Creator Program Is Live
Every Ether Online player now has a referral code. Share it, and you earn 10% of everything the players you bring in spend — for as long as they play.
How it works
Grab your code — Dashboard → Creator Program (it's already waiting for you)
Share it, or your link: playetheronline.com/eo/YOURCODE
Anyone who signs up with it is yours — you earn 10% of every top-up and every Supporter Package they ever buy
Not just their first purchase. Every one.
What you get
10% — the same rate whether you have 10 viewers or 10,000
Paid in Cash Points, spendable in the in-game shop
A custom code you can pick yourself (changeable once a month — your old links keep working)
A QR code for your stream overlay
New players — you get something too
Sign up with a creator's code and get +5% bonus Cash Points on your first top-up. Costs you nothing, and it supports the creator who brought you here.
Streaming or making content?
Apply from your Creator Program page. Approved creators get:
Paid in real money (GCash / PayPal) instead of Cash Points
No monthly cap
Featured on playetheronline.com/creators
Approval doesn't change your rate — everyone earns 10%. It changes how you get paid.
The fine print, straight up
A code attaches only when someone registers. Existing players can't add one later — so nobody can ever take your referrals from you either.
Earnings are held 14 days before payout, so refunds and chargebacks settle first.
Refunded purchases have their commission reversed.
Referring your own alt accounts isn't worth it — it's visible to us, and codes caught farming get deactivated.

Patch Notes — Character Deletion Grace Period
Deleting a character is no longer permanent right away. Deletions now have a 24-hour cooling-off period, so an accidental (or regretted) delete can be undone.
What changed
Deleting schedules the character for removal in 24 hours instead of erasing it on the spot.
The character stays in your character list the whole time, marked with a countdown — Deleting in 23h.
A character awaiting deletion is shown sitting down on the selection screen, so it's easy to spot at a glance.
With that character selected, the Delete Character button becomes Cancel Deletion.
Cancel any time before the timer runs out and the character comes back completely untouched — same level, gear, items, guild and friends list.
Characters awaiting deletion can't be played until you cancel the deletion.
Once the 24 hours are up, the character is gone for good.
Notes
Characters that can't be deleted are still rejected immediately, not 24 hours later — guild masters must hand over leadership first, and you can't delete a character with active auction listings or bids.
The countdown shown on the character list refreshes when the screen loads, so it may read slightly high until you return to character select.
Equipment Lock
New: Lock your gear
Tired of accidentally unequipping your weapon mid-fight? You can now pin any equipped item to its slot.
Open Character Details and right-click an equipped item to lock or unlock it.
A small gold padlock appears in the corner of every locked slot.
Each slot is locked individually — lock just your weapon, or your whole set.
A locked item cannot be unequipped, swapped, or replaced until you unlock it. Double-clicking or dragging it will politely refuse.
Locks are saved on the item itself, so they survive logout and stay put between sessions.
Fixed
Removed the stray white circle that was sitting on top of the Guild label in the Character Details window.
Pet Fix
Fixed: pets vanishing while in a party
Some parties would find that every member's pet disappeared at once, and the only way to get it back was to log out and back in. Certain parties were being mistaken by the server for a PvP duel/arena team, which made it pack away everyone's combat pet.
Pets no longer despawn when you join or play in a party.
No relog needed — if you're affected right now, your pet will come back on its own the next time you change map or leave the party.
Pets still correctly hide during real duels and ranked arena matches, as intended.
Black Dragon Crafting — Recipe Adjustment
A follow-up tweak to the Black Dragon Item Production update.
Armour — Nighord's Claw no longer needed
Heroic Dragon armour no longer costs Nighord's Claw. Each piece is now just:
15x Titan's Stone
3x + 3x the two Black Dragon parts for your set
Nighord's Claw is now used only for Legendary weapons.
Heroic weapons — part cost increased
Heroic Black Dragon weapons now require 7x their Black Dragon part, up from 1x. Titan's Stone is unchanged at 15x.
Example: Black Dragon's Bone-Toll Sword — 15x Titan's Stone + 7x Black Dragon's Bone
Legendary weapons are unchanged — still 50x Nighord's Claw + 1x of the matching corrupted part.
Reminder
Crafting costs are still not final and may be adjusted again during OBT. Nothing you've already crafted will be affected.
Please update your client through the launcher. This update changes how the game server and client talk to each other, and an out-of-date client will display the character list incorrectly.
