An equipped pioh adds its full stats to you (100%, no level penalty) and grants its passive skills once it’s level 20+. Pets gain EXP from your kills, cap at level 100, and auto-evolve at milestone levels. Every world monster is a class-free pet — any class can equip any creature.
A visible companion follows you.A pet in your Right- or Left-hand slot appears in the world (Body & Ring are stat-only). Note: you can’t equip or unequip in combat.
Favor only ever rises — keep a pet equipped (+1/hr), level it, or feed it. Just avoid the ≤20 penalty.
Each pet has five stats — STR, DEX, INT, VIT, LUK — rolled between its species’ min/max when you get it, so two of the “same” pet differ. Its Stat Type marks the emphasis:
Common Pet Box
A use-item that opens to 1 random common pet (from 20).
Egg → incubate
Monster eggs drop rarely; incubate to hatch that pet (6 h–7 days by grade).

The onboarding chain unlocks your first slot and hands you a pet.

Mixing
Combine two pets to transform up the tree.
A companion needs two things: an unlocked pet slot and a pet. Each comes from an early quest line around the starting village — do them in either order.
Complete “Recovery of Sprite (1)” — take it from Marietta at Marietta’s House and turn it in to Kitty. Your first slot opens the moment you turn it in.
Run the “Origin of power” chain — three quests between Murad and Heimdall. Turning the last in to Heimdall awards a Common Pet Box.
3 · Equip. Open the box, then open the Menu → Pioh arrangement and double-click the pet — a visible companion appears and follows you.

Mix up, not down: an equal-or-stronger sacrifice is 100%; a much weaker one can fail and still burns it. Mixing is free.
A deliberate upgrade, separate from leveling and mixing. At the Euria NPC’s Pioh Evolution, combine 5 of the same pet + Etherstone to evolve it into that creature’s pack-leader form — a stronger monster.
The window previews the result as a live 3D model and auto-counts how many you own — Evolve unlocks at 5/5.
A catalog of all ~1,336 creatures with a live discovered / total count. Every pet you’ve ever owned is recorded forever — even after you mix, release, or evolve it away. Owned show in full colour; the rest are dimmed silhouettes. Open it from the Menu.
Use a Pet Rename Card on your equipped Right-hand pet to give it a custom nameplate that floats above your companion in the world. It’s purely cosmetic — mixing, trading, and evolving still work — and the name sticks after you log out.
