Equip a pet
Put a rideable creature in your Right-hand pet slot so a visible companion is out in the world.
Have it summoned
The pet must be physically out beside you — a stat-only or unsummoned pet can't be ridden.
Press F7
You snap onto the pet in a seated pose and start moving faster. Press F7 again to hop off.
Your mount is the same creature from your Right-hand pet slot. Equip and summon it first, then F7 does the rest.
Your weapon (and its glow) is put away while you're seated.
Clicking a target directs your mount to attack — you don't swing yourself.
Movement speed goes up, scaling with your pet's level up to the cap.
Riding is real and server-side, so other players see you mounted at your true speed.
A higher-level mount carries you faster — each level adds a small bonus on top of the base ride speed, up to a hard cap of about 2.1× your normal run. The boost is real and server-side, so everyone around you sees you moving at that speed, not just your own screen.
Not every creature is a mount — only pets on the ride list can be ridden, and the roster grows over time. Current rideable mounts include:
No pet out? F7 tells you: “You need a pet out to ride.”
Wrong pet? “This pet cannot be ridden.” — swap to one from the list.
