The Dimensional Altar (차원의 제단) is an endless wave-survival gauntlet — monsters pour from dimensional rifts in 21 escalating stages of horde combat, built for fast, repeatable soul- and loot-farming. Here’s how to get in, how the loop works, and what you actually walk away with.

Endless stages
1.5×
Soul & ether yield
×0
EXP — it’s loot, not levels
3
Difficulty tiers
Three separate entries — one per difficulty, each with its own level gate. Open the World Map and pick the Dimensional Altar (or take the Altar portal in Asgard), choose a tier you qualify for, and warp in.
Normal
Lv 10baseline toughness & reward
Hard
Lv 31~2× monster HP & damage, better pay
Master
Lv 60~2.5× — hardest hits, highest reward
No ticket, no key, no cooldown. Walk onto the platform by the altar and the run starts on its own — Stage 1’s first rift opens. Leave or die and you’re returned to Asgard; the instance resets after 5 minutes for a fresh Stage-1 copy. Monster level is the same in every tier (stage × 5) — Hard and Master only make the same monsters hit harder and pay more.
Survive 3 waves
rifts open ~1s apart — they stack up, not one-at-a-time
Wave 3 = mini-boss
a mini-boss drops in on top of the full add pack
Clear the field
the stage clears only when every monster is dead
Breather, then next
60s to heal & loot — or skip it at the altar
Monster level = stage × 5 — Stage 1 is Lv 5, Stage 10 is Lv 50, Stage 21 is Lv 105. The dungeon out-scales you fast; how deep you push is the real challenge. Stage 21 is the finish line — there’s no Stage 22.
The altar in the centre of the room is the dungeon’s signature interaction. Touch it during the 60-second post-clear breather to rip open the next rift yourself instead of waiting out the timer. It enforces two rules and tells you if you break them:
You touch it mid-stage (waves not done)
“You haven’t completed the stage.” — it stays shut
You touch it with monsters still alive
“Monsters remain, so you can’t use it.”
Stage cleared, field empty
The rift tears open — the next stage begins right now
Every clear also announces your time for the stage. In a strong party clearing well under 60s of combat, tapping the altar after every clear roughly doubles your stages per hour versus idling through each breather.
×0
EXP
none — not a level grind
×1
Items
normal drops
×1
Gold
normal gold
×1.5
Souls & ether
+50% — the draw
It’s not for leveling. With EXP × 0 you won’t gain a single point of experience here. Farm souls and loot at the Altar; level elsewhere.
No ranking rewards (yet). The map promises “rewards by ranking” and announces your clear time, but no score is recorded in this build — there’s no leaderboard. The farming (drops, souls, gold) works fully; the leaderboard layer is dormant.
| Stages | Monster lvl | Per wave | Per stage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 – 5 | 5 – 25 | 10 / wave | ~30 |
| 6 – 10 | 30 – 50 | 20 / wave | ~60 |
| 11 – 15 | 55 – 75 | 30 / wave | ~90 |
| 16 – 20 | 80 – 100 | 40 / wave | ~120 |
| 21 | 105 | boss finale | boss + ~39 elites |
Monster counts step up every 5 stages (10 → 20 → 30 → 40 per wave). Wave 3 is the spike every stage — the mini-boss arrives on top of a full pack, and monsters roll higher grade (the elite upgrade — more HP, better loot) the deeper you go. Stage 21 is a boss climax, not a horde: a special boss unit backed by ~39 of the toughest elites in the dungeon.
Solo gives you a private copy of the arena. A party of up to 5 shares one copy and fights the waves together. Party play is strongly favoured — the waves are designed to swarm, loot and soul drops share across the group, and more bodies means you push deeper before the monster level outscales you. Form the party before you enter: like every instance, you can’t recruit once you’re inside.
Is it solo-only?
No. Solo gives you a private copy; a party of up to 5 shares one. Form the party before you enter — you can’t recruit once inside.
How many stages are there?
21. Monster level is stage × 5, so Stage 21 fields Lv 105 monsters. There’s no Stage 22 — clearing 21 ends the run.
Do I need a key or ticket?
No. No ticket, no key, no cooldown, no daily cap — just meet the level gate for your tier.
Why didn’t I get any EXP?
By design. The Altar’s EXP multiplier is 0. It pays loot, gold, and +50% souls/ether — not experience.
What’s the altar in the middle?
“Summon of Dimension.” Touch it after clearing a stage to skip the 60-second wait and start the next stage immediately.
Where are the ranking rewards the description mentions?
Not implemented in this build — your clear time is announced but never recorded, so there’s no leaderboard. You still get every drop, soul, and gold coin.
Where do I end up when I leave or die?
Back in Asgard, the hub town.
