"Anti-Cheat Fixes & Assassin Stealth Update"
Game Update — Anti-Cheat False Positives + Stealth Fix
Thanks to everyone who reported these over the last two days. A recent anti-cheat update was flagging normal gameplay as suspicious. That's on us — here's what's fixed, plus a client-side fix for Assassin stealth.
Server — Fixed
Doors, gates, portals and Spatial Transporters wouldn't open
Interacting with them could fail with "You can not use the skill now." The server was measuring your distance to large objects more strictly than the game itself does, so standing right next to a door could still be rejected. Ancient Ruins doors and dungeon gates were hit hardest.
Random disconnects with "Irregular Client Activity"
Several normal actions were being counted as cheating and would eventually disconnect you:
Attacking high-HP targets — elites and bosses especially. A long fight could disconnect you partway through.
Normal melee swings at a moving target.
Opening doors and gates (above).
Lag spikes. A few seconds of bad connection could get you kicked even though nothing was wrong on your end.
Getting disconnected repeatedly
A single disconnect could fire several times over. Now it happens once.
Note
Cheat protection is still fully active — we've only stopped it punishing things that were never cheating. Damage, range and movement are still checked server-side exactly as before. If you still hit any of these after today, please report it with the map name and roughly what you were doing. It genuinely helps.
Client — Invisibility Now Works in PvP/PK Zones
Assassins using their invisibility skill were still visible to everyone in open-world PK zones and on war battlegrounds — they only appeared as a faint outline instead of actually vanishing. Full stealth only ever worked inside the ranked arenas and duel maps.
Stealth is now decided by who your enemies are, not by which map you're standing on:
Enemies no longer see you at all — no character, no name, no chat bubble, no minimap dot, and you can't be clicked or auto-attacked while hidden.
Allies (your party, your guild, your pets, and yourself) still see the usual faint translucent outline so you can keep track of each other.
Normal PvE maps are unchanged — stealth still shows as a translucent outline to other players there.
As always, attacking breaks stealth immediately, on every map.
Client fix is delivered via the launcher — just run Updater.exe and it'll patch automatically.
