The game client is now 64-bit.
What's New
64-bit client — the game is no longer limited to 4 GB of memory, which gives us far more headroom for future content and should mean fewer memory-related crashes in long sessions.
Rebuilt audio and video systems. Everything should sound and look exactly as before — if anything seems off, please report it.
Intro cinematic and class preview videos have been re-encoded at the same quality but a fraction of the size.
Your install gets around 270 MB smaller once the update finishes.
What You Need to Do
Nothing — just launch the game and let the updater run. This is a larger one-time download (about 120 MB) because the client and its video files are all being replaced.
Requirements
64-bit Windows is now required. (If you're on 32-bit Windows, please get in touch before updating.)
Trouble After Updating?
Close the game completely and run the launcher again so it can finish applying the update. If the game won't start, please post in the support channel and let us know your Windows version — don't delete anything from your game folder.
