"Dungeon Entry Tickets & Black Dragon Cost Cut"
Dungeon Entry Tickets
Hard and Master dungeons now require an entry ticket. Normal difficulty is unchanged and remains completely free.
Hard Dungeon Ticket — enter any instanced dungeon on Hard
Master Dungeon Ticket — enter any instanced dungeon on Master
One ticket is consumed per entry. Tickets stack, so a full supply takes only a single bag slot.
How to Get Them
Pack leaders drop them. Every monster group has a leader — the stronger monster the rest of the pack forms around. Only that leader can drop a ticket. The smaller monsters travelling with it never will.
They drop everywhere — out in the open world and inside dungeons.
They drop at every difficulty, so you can farm tickets while running Normal content.
Master Dungeon Tickets are considerably rarer than Hard ones — expect to hunt a good deal longer for them.
Because they drop out in the open world, you never need to already own a ticket to start earning them.
Quest Tickets — You Will Never Be Stuck
Some quests can only be completed at Hard or Master difficulty. You will never be blocked from progressing because you could not afford a ticket. When you accept a quest that requires a higher difficulty, you are automatically given a free ticket for that difficulty.
They are marked (Bound) — they cannot be traded, mailed, or sold.
You get one per quest.
If you hold both kinds, the game spends the quest ticket first, keeping your farmed tickets safe.
The ticket is tied to that quest — abandoning or completing it removes any unused copy.
Keep a free bag slot when accepting these quests. If your bag is full, the quest cannot be accepted at all.
So your very first Hard dungeon run is on us — just pick up the quest that needs it.
One Ticket, One Attempt
A ticket buys one entry, not one clear. If you die and return to town, or leave the dungeon for any reason, going back in costs another ticket.
Repair and restock before you go in.
Bring potions and revival items.
A wipe is far more costly now — party up.
Parties
Every member pays their own ticket. A party of five costs five tickets. This includes joining a run that is already underway.
If a member does not have a ticket:
They are left behind — everyone else still enters.
The party is told in chat exactly who could not get in.
They can still join later once they get a ticket, and will land with the party inside.
Do not take too long, though — if everyone leaves or the run finishes, the dungeon closes and re-entering starts a fresh one.
You Will Be Warned Early
Choosing the difficulty — you are told immediately if you cannot afford that tier.
The dungeon entry window — shows how many Hard and Master tickets you are carrying, in green, or red when you have none.
Item tooltips — explain what each ticket does and where it drops.
Loading screens — new tips explaining the system.
Party difficulty changes still need everyone to agree, so nobody can be dragged into a tier they cannot pay for without being asked first.
Trading
Tickets found from monsters are fully tradeable — trade them, mail them, or list them on the auction house. Hunting tickets to sell is a perfectly good way to earn. Quest-granted (Bound) tickets cannot be traded.
Quick Tips
Hunt pack leaders — the lone wanderers and small pack members will not drop tickets.
Farm anywhere; the open world works just as well as a dungeon.
Check your quest log — a quest that needs Hard or Master hands you the ticket.
Keep a bag slot free before accepting difficulty quests.
Save your Master tickets — they are rare, and Master dungeons hit far harder.
Clear the run in one go; every trip back to town costs another ticket.
Drop rates are being watched closely and may be adjusted as we see how supply settles.
Black Dragon Crafting — Cost Adjustment
Armour crafting has been made cheaper.
Heroic Dragon armour now costs 8x Titan's Stone per piece, down from 15x. The Black Dragon parts are unchanged at 3x + 3x.
Each armour piece is now:
8x Titan's Stone
3x + 3x the two Black Dragon parts for your set
That brings a full 5-piece set down from 75 to 40 Titan's Stone.
Heroic weapons are unchanged — still 15x Titan's Stone + 7x their Black Dragon part.
Where to get Titan's Stone: a reminder, since this has come up — Titan's Stone is not a monster drop. It comes from Liberius's repeatable quest in Black Dragon's Sanctuary, which awards 1 per completion. Unlock it by working the Black Dragon quest line starting from Heimdall at Lv 60.
Crafting costs are still not final and may be adjusted again during OBT. Nothing you've already crafted will be affected.
Fixes
Tapioca no longer appears as a pile of broken shapes.
Both as a Pioh companion and as a monster in the field, Tapioca could render as a scattered mess of flat polygons instead of its proper round body. Every Tapioca form — including the elemental variants — is fixed. The same fault affected the Frogel evolutions during their knockdown and death animations; fixed as well.
Purely visual. No stats, skills, favor, drops or behaviour changed — there's nothing you need to re-do, and your Tapioca is exactly as strong as it was.
Tapioca's occasional idle "flourish" animation has been swapped for its normal standing pose, because that animation was what triggered the broken visuals. Your Tapioca now simply idles in place.
Fixed: game crash when viewing NPCs on the World Map.
Opening the World Map and switching to the NPC view could crash the client instantly. The map builds a list of every NPC that currently has a quest for you. A handful of quests (mostly in the Lv 12–50 story chapters) start on their own and have no NPC to hand them in — the map tried to place a marker for an NPC that doesn't exist and took the client down with it. These quests are now skipped, and every other NPC marker draws as normal. The same crash could also trigger when clicking a region on the map to open its NPC bubbles — that's fixed too.
Thanks to everyone who sent in crash reports — the dump file you attached is what pinned this down.
Please restart your client via the launcher to receive this update.
