"Leaderboards, Etherstone Rebalance & Invisible Pet Fix"
New: The Leader Board
See where you stand against the whole realm. A new board has appeared in five towns — look for Sentima Society, tagged [Leader Board], the same kind of board as the Commission Board.
Where to Find It
Retta — 190, 192
Asgard — 424, 332
Herbat Village — 142, 191
Elder's Retreat — 348, 406
Pascal's Camp — 387, 390
Three Rankings
Level — highest level first, then EXP within the level
Gold — who's carrying the most
Achievements — titles earned (the same number your Honor window shows)
Filter and Search
Class — pick a class and you get that class's own Top 100, not just whoever from the overall list happens to be that class. Every class has a full ladder.
Search — type a name to find a character on the current ranking. The rank shown is their real position on the ladder, not their place among the search results.
Top 100 per ranking, ten per page. The top three are marked in gold, silver and bronze. Hit Refresh any time — the board updates about once a minute.
Good to Know
The Gold ranking counts gold you're carrying. Anything in your warehouse, mail or auction escrow isn't included.
Only the Top 100 is searchable — if a character isn't on the board, the search won't find them.
GM and staff characters are excluded from every ranking.
Good luck climbing.
Etherstone & the Pioh Economy
Etherstone now funds the pet side of the game, not just soul cards.
Hatching a Pioh Egg Now Costs Etherstone
Dropping an egg into the Pioh purifier at Euria used to be free. It now costs Etherstone, scaled by how long the egg takes to hatch:
6 hours — 10 Etherstone
24 hours — 25 Etherstone
3 days — 50 Etherstone
7 days — 100 Etherstone
Soul-fusion eggs — 5 Etherstone
The cost appears in the Need ether stone bar the moment you place an egg, and turns red if you're short. Rarer pets take longer to hatch and cost more — the wait and the price now point the same direction.
Pioh Evolution Costs Rebalanced
Evolution already cost Etherstone, but nearly every recipe charged the same flat 8 — whether you were evolving a level 3 critter or a level 59 pack leader. The cost now scales with the evolved form's rarity and level:
Common pack leaders — 8 to 56 Etherstone
Rare leaders — up to 140 Etherstone
Boss-tier leaders — up to 300 Etherstone
Low-level evolutions are unchanged or barely moved. The increases are at the top end, where they belong.
What This Means for You
Etherstone is now shared between soul cards and pets, so think twice before pouring your stock into card growth. Decomposing cards you don't want is still the main way to earn it — selling to an NPC gives gold, not Etherstone.
These changes require the latest client. Please run Updater.exe before logging in.
Fix — Skill Descriptions
Some skill tooltips were describing the wrong thing. They now match what the skill actually does.
Vessel of the Soul
The tooltip still advertised the old Max MP / MP-regeneration bonus after the passive was reworked. It now correctly shows the Bound Soul generation chance and how it scales with rank.
Passives with Two Triggers
Several passives fire off two different skills, but the tooltip only ever named the first one — so half of what they did was invisible. All triggers are now listed:
Vessel of the Soul — Soul Shot and Flash Orb
Vitality Absorption / Thorio's Vitality Absorption — Soul Explosion: Concentration and Soul Shot
Rage Craving — Downward Slam and Downward Slam: Fierce Strike
Descriptions only — no skill behaviour was changed by this fix. These passives were already working off both triggers; the tooltip just wasn't telling you.
Pet Fix — Invisible Companions
Some Pioh were completely invisible when summoned. No model, no nameplate, nothing — they'd only pop into view the moment they attacked something, then disappear again on their next respawn. Standing in town, where there's nothing to fight, they never showed up at all.
What Was Happening
These pets come from monsters that burrow and lie in ambush in the wild. That "hidden until it spots you" behaviour was being carried over onto the pet version, so the server was never telling anyone the pet was there — even though it was alive, following you and fighting the whole time. It also meant F7 refused to mount them with "You need a pet out to ride", because as far as the game was concerned you had no pet out.
Fixed — summoned pets no longer inherit the ambush hiding. They're visible immediately, stay visible in town, and stay visible after respawning. The wild monster versions still ambush you as before.
41 Pioh Affected:

Beholder — Bound, Dominated, Follower, Savage

No client patch needed — nothing to download. If you own one of these, just re-summon it after the restart and it'll show up.
