Ether Online Tips #4: All You Need to Know About Soul Cards

Step 1: Collect Souls

Slay mobs out in the field and collect 10 souls. Press G to collect a defeated monster's soul.

Step 2: Purify the Souls

1. Go to Kitty (the Soul Cleanser) in Retta.

2. Put a contaminated soul sphere into the Soul Purifier.

3. Add an optional cleansing agent if you have one.

4. Purifying costs Ether Stones (e.g., 10 Ether Stone for a 10-minute cleanse) — cost and time vary by soul type.

5. Once cleansed, you'll obtain a usable Soul Card.

The 6 Soul Types

• Earth Soul

• Dark Soul

• Holy Soul

• Nature Soul

• Fire Soul

• Chill Soul

Step 3: Equip Soul Cards for Combo Bonuses

Open Soul Card Arrange to slot up to 4 Soul Cards at once. Certain combinations trigger a bonus set effect on top of their individual stats. Examples shown:

• Shadow Play – Blocking Rate +1%

• Goddess of Darkness – All Stat +10, All Critical Hit +4

Step 4: Grow Your Soul Cards

You can level up a Soul Card by sacrificing other Soul Cards:

1. Open Soul Card Growth.

2. Register the card you want to grow, then register the card(s) to sacrifice as fuel.

3. Growing costs Ether Stones.

4. Warning: a Soul Card whose strength has been absorbed into another card is consumed and can never be used again.

Step 5: Evolve Maxed-Out Soul Cards

Once a Soul Card hits max level (e.g., 900/900 EXP), you can evolve it to the next grade using Runes + Ether Stone in the Soul Card Evolution menu.

Where to Get Runes

Runes drop from elite monsters and bosses in the Daily Dungeons, and each rune type has its own day:

• Monday – Orange Rune

• Tuesday – Red Rune

• Wednesday – Blue Rune

• Thursday – Green Rune

• Friday – Purple Rune & Gold Rune
