Open Beta: the doors open
By Ether Team

Open beta opens Monday, 20 July 2026 at 14:57 server time. The servers open to everyone, free, with no key and no invite: create an account, download the launcher, and play.
Read this first: beta progress will be wiped
Open beta is a test, and it ends with a full wipe. Every character, every item, every gold coin and every level you earn during beta is erased before the official launch. Nothing in the world carries over.
Purchases are safe. Cash Points you bought, and the supporter perks that came with them, are restored to your account at launch — you are not paying twice for the wipe. Your account itself, your login and your name reservations also survive; only the game world resets.
Play beta to test the game and enjoy it, not to bank a head start. Nobody gets one.
What open beta is
This is not the launch. It is the last stretch of testing before it, with the doors open, and it will look like testing:
- Expect downtime. Servers go down for hotfixes and restarts, sometimes at short notice.
- Expect bugs. Some will be irritating, a few will be funny, and a handful will eat your afternoon. That is what a beta is for.
- Expect changes. Rates, drops and balance get tuned mid-beta based on what the data shows.
- Report what breaks. Bug reports go to our Discord — a screenshot, your character name and what you were doing is enough. Reports from beta are the whole point of the exercise.
The official launch date is announced separately once beta has told us what we need to know.
How to join
- Create your account — free, takes a minute.
- Download the launcher and let it patch to the current build.
- Log in, roll a character, and step through the portal.
If the launcher stalls or a patch fails, the download page has the fixes for the common cases.
What you can play
The build is the full game, not a slice of it:
- Six classes, each with second and third job advancements and an awakened transform form
- Pioh — collect, hatch, raise and ride your own creatures, 1,300+ species
- Soul Cards — a deck system with growth, evolution and set bonuses
- Dungeons from the early boss runs to the Dimensional Altar and the Black Dragon raid
- PvP — duels, ranked arenas with spectator mode, and open-world PK with karma
- Territorial War — the weekly all-guild war for the seat of the realm
- Guilds with ranks, guild skills, a shared warehouse and party/guild voice chat
- Enhancement, crafting, the auction house, mounts and the costume systems
What we need from you
Play the way you actually want to play, and tell us where it hurts. The most useful reports are the boring ones: a quest that will not advance, a skill that fires twice, a window that opens off the edge of your screen, a monster that will not die. Those are the ones that get fixed before launch — and the reason the wipe is worth it.
See you in Hestia.
