"Anti-Bot Check, Wayfarer's Seal, Guild Warehouse & Daily Rewards"
Ether Online — Patch Notes
Anti-Bot Check
Automated farming programs take drops, ether and spawns from people who are actually playing. We've added a quiet check that tells the two apart.
You will almost certainly never see it. It looks for unattended, repetitive farming — long sessions and hard grinding are not what it's after.
If You Do See It
A small window appears: click every tile that matches the shape at the top, then Confirm. Takes a few seconds, and you get more than one try.
While it's open you keep full control of your character — move, fight, chat, use the shop, log out. It will never freeze you in place.
It will not appear during an arena match, a duel, the Territorial War, while trading, or while changing maps.
If You Miss One
Your EXP and item drops pause — that's all. Nothing is taken from you.
You'll be offered the check again shortly; pass it and everything resumes.
Lost the window by accident? It comes back on its own.
Nobody is banned for a missed check. Repeated misses are read by a person before anything else happens. If you see one you think you shouldn't have, tell us — that's genuinely useful.
The Wayfarer's Seal — Monthly Pass
A subscription for the travelling adventurer. It will never sell you power.
What It Will Never Include
No EXP, drop or gold boosts. No stats, buffs, enchant odds, or exclusive gear. Nothing that touches PvP — a Seal holder and a free player are exactly as strong as each other.
What It Gets You
Free travel — ether gates and world-map warps cost nothing
Free postage — mail and attachments cost nothing
No durability loss — from use or from dying
No auction deposit — list freely
A free Megaphone
Longer disconnect grace — 5 minutes instead of 90 seconds
A unique aura only Seal holders wear
A monthly Wayfarer's Cache of supplies
The Wayfarer's Ledger — 30 Days of Rewards
Every login advances the track one step: Return Stones, Accelerators, Signboard Passes, plus four one-off prizes — Travel Backpack, Urd's Pocket Watch, Pet Rename Card, and the Cache on day 30.
Nothing is ever lost. Cumulative, not a streak — one press collects everything owed. Type /daily to open it.
Where to Get One
Website — pick which character receives it
In game — for Ether Points or Online Points. There is a free route to all of it, and always will be.
Worth Knowing
Applies to one character
A second Seal adds 30 days — never resets you
Remaining days show in Character Details
Guild Warehouse
Guilds now have shared storage. Talk to the Guild Office to open it.
50 slots total, shared by the whole guild — first 20 are free and permanent
Any member can deposit — no permission needed
Withdrawals need an approved request (guild master / sub-masters exempt)
Right-click an item to request it — a confirmation shows the tooltip first
Guild master / sub-master approves or rejects from the Requests panel
Approved items are reserved for you — collect anytime, not mailed
You get a mail when your request is answered, even offline
Cancel your own request anytime, even after approval
Only one member can claim an item at a time
Storage History logs every deposit/withdrawal, filterable by action and date
Untradeable and bound items cannot be stored
Expanding It
Guild Warehouse Expansion (30 Days) opens the other 30 slots
Any member can buy or renew it
Buying another adds time to the same expiry — paying early never wastes time
When a rental runs out the extra slots lock, but nothing is deleted — everything stays visible and can still be taken out
You must be in your guild for 7 days before withdrawing. Depositing has no wait.
Client update.
Soul Card Sealing & Trading
Soul cards can now be passed to another player — but they must be sealed first.
Sealing
Soul Card Sealing Stone (Cash Shop) seals one card into a Sealed Soul
Keeps its level, stats and skills — nothing lost or re-rolled
Costs 300 Etherstone on top of the stone
Card must not be in an active deck; needs a free bag slot
A Sealed Soul can be stored, mailed, traded and auctioned
Take it to Kitty to purify it and get the card back
Trading Changes
Soul cards can no longer be traded, mailed, auctioned, dropped or guild-stored directly — seal them instead
Moving cards between your own characters via the shared warehouse still works
Before You Buy a Sealed Soul
The five Sealed Souls look alike — check the tooltip. It shows the card inside and its level, and works in trade, the Auction House and chat links. If someone won't let you hover it, don't take the deal.
Also fixed: Arena achievement rewards showing a blank description.
Client update.
Daily Login Rewards — Now Live for Everyone
Every character now has a 30-day reward track. No purchase, no sign-up. Just log in.
How It Works
Each day you log in, the track advances one step and holds that day's reward
Cumulative, not a streak — miss a day and it waits; forget to Claim and it stays owed
One press collects everything you are due, oldest first
Reach day 30 and it starts again
Open from the main menu under Daily Rewards, or type /daily — it also opens itself at login when something is waiting
Full bag? Anything that won't fit is mailed to you
Free Track — Across 29 Days
22 stat potions — Stamina, Opportunity and Quickness, in Clear and Fragrant grades
10 Fragrant Holy Water
6 Advanced Reinforcement Protection Stones
5 Accelerators, 4 Return Stones, 4 Nourishment of Knowledge (1 Hour)
Day 30 — the Wanderer's Cache: 1 to 3 Advanced Reinforcement Protection Stones
With a Wayfarer's Seal — Across 29 Days
55 stat potions
20 Fragrant Holy Water
10 Advanced Reinforcement Protection Stones
11 Accelerators, 8 Return Stones, 9 Nourishment of Knowledge (1 Hour)
Day 30 — the Wayfarer's Cache: 2 to 5 Advanced Reinforcement Protection Stones
Both caches roll their amount when opened, and the bigger stacks are rarer.
Also in This Patch — Stat Potions in the Supply Caches
Urd's Supply Cache and the Arena Supply Cache can now roll a stat potion as well: 2 to 5 at a time, bigger stacks rarer, lower grades more common. Nothing was removed from either cache to make room.
Personal Archive — All 50 Slots Unlocked
Your Personal Archive now opens with all 50 slots usable — nothing to buy, nothing to unlock.
What Was Wrong: 30 of 50 slots shipped padlocked, and the locks were inconsistent — refusing items while empty, sometimes accepting anyway, then re-locking. It wasn't your imagination.
What Changed
Every slot open, for every character, automatically
No more padlock icons or self-locking slots
Holding a "Personal Library 5 boxes extended"? It's no longer needed and is not consumed if used.
Server restart only — no client patch.
Arena — Capture the Flag Now Every 3 Hours + No Gear Damage
Capture the Flag now runs every 3 hours. More chances to grab the flag throughout the day.
Fighting in CTF also no longer wears down your equipment, matching duels and ranked arena.
While in the Arena:
Dying costs no durability
Skills don't wear your gear
PK penalties (durability loss, item drops) don't apply
Repair costs are on us. Go get the flag.
Open-world PK and Territorial War keep their normal stakes.
Client Stability — Map Crash Fix
Fixed a client crash when entering a map.
Entering the PvP wait room / arena maps could crash if terrain failed to load — the client built an empty world, then died
The client now refuses to load a broken map instead of crashing — relog and try again
Applies to every map, including the dungeon-entry crash reported earlier
Added a diagnostic file
If you're ever dropped into a map with no ground, relog and send us client_map_load_fail.txt from your Ether Online folder.
Client update.
New Rideable Pioh
Equip one as your visible Pioh and press F7 to hop on.
Lumen Electroshocker
Iron-Fang Commander
Iron-Fang Destroyer
Iron-Fang Senior Soldier
Iron-Fang Scout Gnoll
Iron-Fang Worker Gnoll
Iron-Fang Gnoll Laborer
Black Claw Traitor
Failed Mix Pig
Mount looks off (too high, too low, off-center)? Report which Pioh and we'll fix it.
Client update.
Repair Hammer Fix
The padlock badge on locked/sealed gear was covering the bottom-right corner of the icon and swallowing your click — no repair, no message, no hammer spent. Clicking the centre worked, which is why it seemed random. The same dead corner affected blacksmith repairs.
Fixed. The hammer now also tells you why on every refusal.
Clocktower Plaza Sentima / Baldr Quests — Reward Display Fix
The quest window showed a Gold Sentima / Baldr coin but paid Silver. The window now shows the Silver coin you actually receive. Both versions affected.
Good to Know
Nothing about the reward changes — coin, gold, EXP, target and 5 repeats are as they were
Silver is correct: every specimen quest from lvl 27–49 pays silver, which buys the lvl 35–48 gear. Gold belongs to lvl 51+ quests
Clocktower Lobby quests (lvl 49) were right all along
Restart your client via the launcher to receive all client updates. See you in Hestia.
